It is actually a misnomer as most of the surgeries involving these procedures involve the vulva rather than the vagina. Technically speaking, the vagina is an internal organ. It is, therefore, completely hidden from sight. The visible part of a woman's genitals is called the vulva. The vulva includes the labia (or lips) and the clitoris.
- Labia Majora are the two outer lips of vulva. They are covered with hair.
- Labia minora are thinnner inner lips. They are hairless.
- Mons pubis is the lower bulge on a woman's body. It is a fatty area covering the pubic region.
- Hymen is a film that is shaped like a ring that has a hole in the middle. The point is to drain the menstrual blood of the womb.
- Clitoris is a point located just above the urethra. It is tiny and sensitive.
